GOODBYE

At the end of term, next Tuesday, we will be saying Goodbye to Mr Baldwin, Miss Mallender and Miss Wood. Mr Baldwin and Miss Mallender are leaving to go in to further education and we wish them well at University. Miss Wood is taking time out from her teaching career to travel. We would like to wish them all the best of luck for the future.

They will all be missed by both the children and the staff.

.

As of September 5th Breakfast Club will be held in the Nurture Room. Parents will need to bring their child through the front entrance of the school, where a member of staff will let them in.

Just to remind you that we still have a few places available for Breakfast Club.

The cost of breakfast is £2.00 per day (£10 per week).

Numbers are limited to 20 children and we must know in advance who will be attending. If demand is high, priority will be given to children entitled to free meals or known to be economically disadvantaged.

If you wish to request a place at Breakfast Club please ask the school office for a form.

Any questions please contact the school.

There will be 31 after school and lunch time clubs running during the Autumn term, please check our website to view these. A slip will be sent home on the 5th September to place your requests. You will be notified by Friday 9th September and clubs will commence week beginning Monday the 12th September.

Finally over the Summer holidays we will be having a considerable amount of changes made to our playground area and various changes within the school. One of these changes includes an electric gate at the front of the school and carpark. From September the side entrance to the school will no longer be used for access.

I would like to wish all our families a fantastic Summer Holiday and thank you all for making Red Oak such a great school!

We look forward to welcoming all the children, current and new back on Monday 5th September!
