Applications are sought for the following Registrar programs (6-12 months) at South West Healthcare commencing 5th February 2018:

Registrar Emergency Department (Diploma of Emergency Medicine)

The HMO/Registrar plays a key role in the provision of emergency medicine services to patients presenting to the South West Healthcare Emergency Department (ED). The ED Registrar will assist in the coordination of clinical archives activities both within and between the ED and other departments/services within SWH. The role HMO will require closely liaison liaise with the Director of ED, Specialist ED Consultants and GP Supervisors and will involve supervision of less experienced clinical staff and some formal and opportunistic teaching.

Registrar Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics)

The GP HMO/Registrar O&G position provides broad Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience in a rural setting to enable the completion of basic DRANZCOG training requirements. The HMO will closely liaise with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar, the Specialist and General Practitioner Supervisors and the local Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Registrar Paediatric (Diploma of Child Health)

The Paediatrics department position has been created to provide broad Paediatric experience in a rural setting. The position is intended to provide responsibility and experience as part of a clinical team in Paediatrics. The HMO will closely liaise with the Paediatrics Registrar, the Specialist and General Practitioner Supervisors and the local Paediatricians.

Applicants enrolled in RACGP or ACRRM (GP program) would be highly regarded, however all applicants will be considered.
