Clubs & Organizations:

Utility Billing:
  • The Town charges a service deposit of $100 that is refunded when your utility services are no longer required and final payment received.
  • Utility bills are issued quarterly at the end of - March, June, September & December.
  • Town utility and tax bills can both be set up to pay through on-line banking. Please contact the Town Office if you have any questions.
  • You can now submit water meter reads through our website.
  • Quarterly charges are as follows:

Water(minimum)$75.00/6000gallons

(Usage > 6000gallons is charged $ .55/100 gallons)

This is based on residential rates as different rates apply to commercial properties.

Household Garbage:
  • GFL Environmental formerly Regens Disposal provides curbside garbage pick up to Radville every two weeks on Monday. Remember to place your bin to the front curb by 7:00 a.m.
  • Loose garbage needs to be bagged unless it is a large item. Branches must be bundled and be able to fit in the bin.
  • Garbage cannot exceed 250 pounds and only waste inside the cart will be collected. Do not place hot ashes, construction debris, or hazardous waste in the carts.

Waste Management Area:
  • The Town waste management area is located 2 miles south, 2 miles East and 1/2 mile North of Radville.
  • Please check the Town of Radville website for waste management area hours and rates.

Recycling:
  • GFL Environmental formerly Regens Disposal provides curbside recycling pick up to Radville every two weeks on Wednesday. Remember to place your blue cart to the front curb by 7:00a.m.

Compost:
  • The Town of Radville provides, for its residents, a compost site located south of Town on Toronczuk Avenue, east of E. Bourassa and Sons.
  • Any compost material such as garden waste, leaves, grass clippings and fruits and vegetables are accepted. Branches, trees or household waste is not accepted at this site.

Pets:
  • Any resident who owns a cat/dog within town limits must register their pets at the town office. Licenses are due January 1st of each year for a fee of $20 for each cat/dog.
  • Restricted dogs license fee is $250.00 per dog. For a list of restricted dogs please refer to Bylaw No. 2016-15.
  • No person shall possess more than 2 dogs or 2 cats per dwelling unit.
  • Please refer to the control of dogs & cats bylaw under municipal services on the Town of Radville website.

Traffic Regulations:
  • Street Parking-Vehicles, campers, recreation equipment and trailers have street parking limit of 48 hours. Parking is not allowed in lanes or alleys.
  • Speed Limit- 40 km/hr is the maximum speed within Town limits.
  • U-Turns – No person driving a vehicle shall turn the vehicle as to proceed in the opposite direction anywhere except at the intersection of a street or avenue.
  • Work Zones – When Town staff or contractors are working please stay clear of the work area. Barricades and road-closed signs need to be adhered to.

Building Permits:
  • The Town building bylaw requires a permit before you start your building project. Full details of the building bylaw, permit and application forms are available at the Town of Radville office or Town of Radville website.
  • What requires a permit? New building construction(garages and carports),mobile and modular homes, renovations, alterations and additions to existing buildings, demolition/relocation of existing buildings, basement development, fireplace and wood stoves, swimming pools, decks and fences.
  • Permits are NOT required for: driveways, sidewalks, replacement using the same materials not affecting structural, electrical or mechanical systems(roofing, siding, windows), accessory buildings(garden shed) not more than 100 sq feet.
  • If you hire a contractor, you are required to have them provide proof of business license with the Town of Radville.
