26th June

For the first two weeks of this new timetable, which replaces your normal school timetable, you must be in school at all times during the normal school day. The arrangements change after half term.

Week 1, 15th-19th May: You register in normal form classes both morning and afternoon. Those taking an exam report to the HSR/Dining Room and are registered for the exam. If you have no exam, attend the specific revision session for a subject IF YOU STUDY THAT SUBJECT. If there is no session for a subject you study, you will have a general supervised revision session. Bring your own work to revise each day to be prepared. On the morning of 17th May, some will be doing their ICT exam, but afterwards they will join the others already revising English Literature. On the afternoon of 18th May, some will be doing their Drama exam, but afterwards they will either join the others already revising History, or go to “own” revision as provided by staff. This type of process will occur on occasions throughout the exam period.

Week 2, 22rd – 26th May: You register in normal form classes both morning and afternoon. On the afternoon of 22ndMay, some will be doing their Geography exam, but afterwards they will either join the others already revising History, or go to English or Maths revision as instructed by those departments .

Week 3, 5th – 9th June: You are now only expected in school if (i) you have an exam or (ii) if we havearranged a study session for an exam. The specific subject sessions are compulsory except when it says “voluntary”. You may decide in these cases whether you would benefit from some extra support from teachers or not. So, for example, on the afternoon of Tuesday 6th June, you should be in school if you have a Geography exam or if you study German or Computing.

Week 4, 12th – 16th June: You are again only expected in school if (i) you have an exam or (ii) if we havearrangeda study session for an exam. The specific subject sessions are compulsory except when it says “voluntary”. You may decide in these cases whether you would benefit from some extra support from teachers or not.

Week 5, 19th – 20th June: One History exam and one History revision day this week. History candidates should attend both of these, though the Monday afternoon is voluntary.

Week 6, 26th June: final exam – Product Design. We hope the weather is fine for those lazy days of summer that ought to now be yours. See you on results day!
