Spirit Wear Sales: Volunteers are needed to help sell spirit wear during daytime lunches & some evening events. (Amy Sharp: or Stephanie Bartsch:)
Early Release Teacher Lunches: The hospitality committee needs volunteers to buy or bake desserts on 9/4, 10/16, 12/18, 1/15, 2/12, 3/4. Items can be dropped off at the school on early release days. (Michelle Dacanay: )
School Fundraiser: The PTSA sponsors a Cherrydale fundraiser to aid in technology purchases. Help will be needed to collect & distribute orders before school during the week of 9/14.(Amy Sharp: )
6th Grade Social: The PTSA sponsors a 6th Grade Social. Volunteers needed to help plan, chaperone and serve food. The event will be held on 10/2from 1:30-2:50pm. (Davina Nolan: )
Fall Dance: This dance is for 6-8 graders. Volunteers are needed to help plan, chaperone and serve food. The event will be held on 10/16 from 7-9pm.(Davina Nolan: )
Staff Appreciation: The hospitality committee needs volunteers to help show appreciation to the staff at LRMS. There are various appreciation days throughout the school year. Examples: Bus Driver’s week, Administration week, etc. (Susie Downs: )
Book Fair: The book fair will held November 10-17. Volunteers will be asked to come in during different shifts to work the fair. Responsibilities might include setting up the fair, checking out students who purchase books, and helping with book selection.(Amy Campbell: )
Honor Roll: Volunteers are needed each semester to help donate & serve snacks to students who have made the honor roll. (Julie Toburen:)
Community Outreach: The PTA,in conjunction with the school counselor, sponsors outreach projects such as collections for those in need. Responsibilities vary depending on the project or event. Examples: Canned food drive, The Giving Tree Holiday project, etc.(Tracy Farabaugh:; or Shelly Blake: )
