What is EquiMania!?

EquiMania! is Equine Guelph's youth education program. Through the education programs of Equine Guelph, we promote horse health and safety. EquiMania! is our education initiative aimed at youth aged 8 to 16. We hope it will encourage our youth to become interested in horses through learning about health, disease prevention and management in a fun and interactive environment.

Role of the Volunteer:

Those involved in Equine Guelph’s youth programs help young people to have fun and be creative while learning in an interactive environment filled with horse paraphernalia. Some of the responsibilities include: supervision of the different areas within the centre, answering questions related to the horse, engaging youth in the interactive environment, arts and crafts, and in general being an ambassador of the program always being cheerful, helpful and approachable.

We have a variety of jobs for volunteers. Some involve more knowledge of the horse and the horse industry than others. How would you rate your experience with horse knowledge?
