Calling to Order:

Mayor Greene called this meeting to order at 7:30pm

Attendance:

Mayor Dennis Greene, Deputy Mayor Robert Moses, Councillors Philman Green, Peter Wilcox, Sherman Ross, Wayne Sturgeon, Michael O’Neill, Darcy Russell, Acting CAO Rob MacPherson, Clerk Natalie Pennell, Treasurer Raima Green, Ron Taylor (ADI), Garry Safford (Fitzgerald and Snow), Vernon McQuillan (Fitzgerald and Snow), and Harry Snow (Fitzgerald and Snow).

Discussion on what to do next concerning the Multipurpose Complex:

Acting CAO Rob MacPherson started the meeting by going over the purpose of the meeting. Goal of the meeting is to see what they can do for us and what agreement that we can come to.

Fitzgerald and Snow then went over the changes that they have made that would not change the design of the building but would save the Village money. Please see attached sheets.

Moved by Councillor O’Neill, seconded by Deputy Mayor Moses to move to a special meeting.

Motion Unanimously Carried 08-79

Moved by Councillor Ross, seconded by Councillor Wilcox that we allow ADI to write a letter of intent with the amended changes of April 23, 2008 with Fitzgerald and Snow Ltd.
