Continuous Improvement Goal:
Develop a highly effective faculty that makes use of research based, best practice instructional strategies to ensure that ALL students make expected or high growth in all content areas.
SMART Goal:
K-5 students will increase from an overall average of 72% to 80% expected or high growth as demonstrated on district SLO growth measures or state SGP measures during the 2015-2016 school year.

Tracking student progress in literacy through Data Teams led by a trained teacher leader. / If groups work collaboratively to monitor student progress, then interventions will be supplied with fidelity to students at-risk while others will be accelerated and ALL students will make high or expected growth. / August 2015 – May 2016

Student growth will be monitored through the IKAN / GLOSS assessments. / If teachers consistently apply best practice strategies to math instruction and use assessment data to guide instruction then all students will make expected or high growth in math. / August 2015 – May 2016

Our SMART goals will be monitored throughout the year by the Action, Accountability, and Altitude Teams. These are vertical leadership teams. These teams meet monthly to assess student progress and design teacher professional learning for each grade level / department. All three leadership teams also meet monthly as a full leadership team to evaluate progress data and design mid-course corrections for the entire school.
