UTA expands service offer to include cars and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons
- Extended target group: traders and fleet managers
- Three product packages: from the cost-effective Basic Package to the Europe-wide Carefree Package
Kleinostheim – 17 January 2018. UNION TANK Eckstein GmbH & Co. KG (UTA) is expanding its services to include cars and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons. The mobility service provider now also offers its services in Germany for transporters and car fleets. “This allows us to specifically address traders and company car fleet managers”, says Volker Huber, CEO of UTA. “They not only benefit from our many years of experience in the fuel and service card business, but also enjoy particularly favourable conditions at their main petrol station.”
The fuel and service card provider now offers traders and fleet managers in Germany the opportunity to refuel across the network and independently of brand in the affordable UTA network, where they can also benefit from substantial discounts. “We have created three attractive product packages (Compact, Comfort and Premium), which meet all needs of our new target groups in Germany and Europe”, Huber explains. “This allows our customers to save time and money and to improve their fleet management.” There is no joining fee and no minimum turnover for the new offer, and there is no minimum fleet size either. While the Compact package covers more than 7,000 service stations and the Comfort package more than 12,000 service stations in Germany, the Premium card gives access to 44,000 service stations in 37 countries including toll service, providing a carefree package for the whole of Europe. The high service station density makes this UTA service particularly attractive, because you are never far away from the next petrol pump.
And it’s not just the drivers who benefit from the advantages of the card. Thanks to the central and transparent invoice, accounts departments also benefit. All card transactions are transparently summarised on a single invoice every 14 days and sent to the customer. This reduces red tape, because you no longer have spent time collecting, filing and submitting the individual petrol receipts. In addition, the card gives better control of fuel consumption, which in turn improves fleet management over the long term. It also helps with fraud prevention, because PIN code and transaction monitoring provide additional security.
A new website is launched alongside the introduction of the new fuel card for cars and commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Customers can now find all information about the new offer at cars.uta.com. The website also features a product configurator, which shows customers the best UTA service package for them.
