Upcoming Services of the Season We Anticipate, D.V

Hope Haven International presents “Rejoice! The Gift of Mobility” featuring Nashville recording artist Jill Miller on Tuesday, December 19 at 7 pm. Tickets are $15. A limited amount of VIP tickets are also available for $25 and include a meet and greet and premier seating. Tickets are on sale Friday, November 3 at the Washington Pavilion Box Office or through

The Christmas concert will also feature the Sioux Falls Christian School hand bell choir. Proceeds will go towards funding wheelchair sponsorships for an upcoming distribution trip to Vietnam in 2018.

JUSTICE FOR ALL is planning the 2018 Service and Learning Opportunities and would love to have you join one of the teams! These weeks are wonderful opportunities to serve others but also to experience and understand God’s Kingdom in new and important ways! Membership Transfer – At his request the record of membership of Mr. A. J. Weg has been transferred to First Reformed Church (RCA) of Sibley, Iowa. May the Lord continue to bless A. J. and his family within this fellowship of faith so that they continue to grow in his faith and may the Lord bless this fellowship of faith through A.J.’s active participation in the life of this fellowship of faith.

Re-Affirmation of Faith – Mr. Paul and Mrs. Deb Dorr met with the council this past Monday evening, December 4 and requested to become members of Ocheyedan Christian Reformed Church. After interviewing them and discussing with them the Scriptural teachings of salvation in Jesus Christ and our faith in Him, the council unanimously granted their request. We anticipate welcoming them through a service of re-affirmation of their faith in mid-January. Paul and Deb, we thank God for you and for how He continues to lead you in your faith journey. May you continue to be edified among us so that together we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastor’s Retirement: The council, at their December 4, 2017 meeting, approved the Pastor’s request to retire effective August 31, 2018 with a farewell date of Sunday, August 19, 2018. August 20 – 31, 2018 will be vacation days.

As we approach another holiday season we are again truly grateful for your commitment to the Luke Society. Ladies of all ages, join us as we continue our Bible study season and

fellowship at Sonshine Circle. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights

of the month at 7:00PM. Starting January 10, we will begin the study on "The Armor Of God" by Priscilla Shirer.
