University Housing - Manager of Custodial Operations & Services
The Department of University Housing is recruiting for a full-time, Manager of Custodial Operations & Services. Statement of Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of University Housing, this position is responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of day-to-day activities in the custodial services area. The incumbent will also be responsible for the direct supervision of full-time Custodial Services Supervisors in separate campus locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a custodial supervisor or lead custodian
- Possession of a Wisconsin Driver License and ability to meet the minimum requirements for driving on State business
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with supervision of supervisors
- Prior experience supervising student staff
- Prior experience in training staff
- Prior experience in scheduling staff
- Prior work experience in a facility that operates 24/7
- Prior experience managing budgets
Summary of the Appointment Benefits and Salary: This position is a full-time Academic Staff position with a competitive salary and benefit package. The final salary offer is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
