United Way Email Campaign-All Audiences
5 Day Campaign
Instructions:
Thank you for running a United Way campaign this year. Please use the following emails to educate your employees and/or colleagues about United Way and encourage them to be involved in your company’s United Way campaign this year.
Please note: many of these emails contain links to Youtube and/or the unitedwaygmwc.org website. If your company blocks either of these sites, the links will not work for your employees.
How to use the Email-a-day campaign:
- Copy and paste the “Email Subject” into the subject line of a new email
- Copy and paste the text below the “Email Subject” into the body of this new email
- Write your name in the highlighted field under the body of the email
- Insert your company’s “Donation Instructions” in the highlighted field at the bottom of the email
- Send to all employees
- Repeat each day of your campaign (either 10 or 5 days)
- At the end of your campaign, send out the quiz included after the emails in this document. Give employees several hours to complete the quiz and instruct them to email you their answers. Score quizzes using the quiz key in this document. The winner can be announced via a group email and will receive a Live United t-shirt and/or any other prize you would like to provide.

EMAIL SUBJECT: We’re all in this together.
Let’s keep it simple: United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County helps people - tens of thousands of people in our community each year.
This short animation will show you how.
Your gift to United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s Community Impact Fundis the most efficient and powerful way to invest in our community.
What is the Community Impact Fund?The Community Impact Fund is a general funding pot that allows United Way to oversee the dollars that are donated to this fund to support 220+ programs at over 110 local agencies in the areas of Education, Income and Health. United Way invests these dollars strategically to address our community’s most pressing needs while making sure that the programs ensure results and are used efficiently.
Over the next week, I will be sharing information about what United Way does with your donation. Each email (including this one!) will have a quiz question at the bottom. Complete the quiz at the end of the campaign to win some fun prizes.
Change only happens if we all join together. I encourage you to join me in supporting United Way’s 2015 Community Campaign.

EMAIL SUBJECT: What really matters?
What are you passionate about? Perhaps you feel thateducation is the cornerstone to individual and community success, or that our neighborhoods will only prosper and grow if families are financially stable. Maybe you realize that the health of an individual affects the health of all.
United Way knows that you want a choice when it comes to your charitable giving. That is why you can choose between the Education, Income or Health focus areas or give to all three through the Community Impact Fund.

Volunteers transform communities. United Way’s annual Season of Caring matches over 4,000 volunteers with projects that impact our community to create lasting change.
Like to work with your hands? United Way can connect you with a non-profit agency that needs help in their vegetable garden or building a wheelchair ramp. Love working with kids? Help a child succeed in school and life by reading with them as a volunteer.
