Knotty Ash is a vibrant and welcoming mainstream primary school with anursery for 3-4 year olds. Integrated into the school, we have an established Deaf Resource Base. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued development of our school provision, working in partnership with all stakeholders to develop lifelong learning opportunities so that our school and pupils fulfil their potential. In the first instance, the successful candidate will be working in our school nursery, contributing in particular to the development of our outdoor provision. S/he will also be involved in all aspects of the amalgamation of Nursery and Reception into a Foundation Stage Unit later this year.

The successful candidate will

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification
  • Have experience of working in a Primary setting, including Early Years
  • Need to think creatively and help us lead on innovation
  • Be able to work constructively as part of a staff team
  • Be highly motivated to be able to work on own initiative to the highest standards
