Scoutmaster minute

  • Come to a PLC meeting. Boys are doing great. Elections – subject “what makes a good leader” – have all scouts do the same thing. Now doing yearly planning. Now they are approaching things - more mild and mellow.
  • Last week’s PLC – what makes a successful troop – a great leader, great campout, etc. – What if it was where everyone makes first class. Discussions using SMART goals.
  • Learnings from this past years’ first year scouts: Troop guide with them for first few months and will serve as their Patrol leader – for first years
  • Camping – Wilson’s Island, Indian Cave, etc. Trying a lot of new places.
