He was a “cultavateur” (farmer) of the parish, an adult son of Francois Laporte & Marie Houle; she was a minor daughter of Pierre Arcenault & the deceased Marie Lafebvre. He was a son of Claude Arsenaux & Marie Corma[ ]?; she was a daughter of Gabriel Le Febvre and Marie Charlotte Vell?, both deceased.
