5.1What progress has been by MeathCounty Council in seeking the re-instatement of lands, part of Abbeygrove Estate, which was the subject of works carried out by the ESB namely the placing of cables underground? This formed a notice of motion in Jan ’06

6.2That Meath County Council (Navan area) carry out a reconstruction of the footpaths along the Rathaldron Road from Abbeygrove Estate to St. Paul’s School in the interest of pedestrian safety especially that of school going children and in doing so due regard is given to the inclusion of drop kerbs at the appropriate points to facilitate pram/buggy and wheelchair users. Funding for this should be considered from accruing levies applied to developments currently underway in the area.

6.3That this Council undertake to improve the footpaths on the Ratholdren Rd to allow for safe passage ofpedestrians and also to provide/install sufficient amount of drains on the road so as to prevent flooding & overflowing of surface water into private residences.
