RE: Training Room Facilities for Basketball Practice & Game

We are pleased to welcome you and your basketball team to Purdue University and Mackey Arena. The training room in Mackey Arena is located in Room B-61 just off the court area. There will be a student athletic trainer assigned to you who will be available for your use at any practice times and game day. We will also provide you with the following items:

· water, cups, ice bags, ice cups with ace wraps on the bench and in your locker room

· a courtesy cart with tape and first aid supplies in your locker room

· half-time quartered oranges and post-game sodas

· a hydrocollator in your locker room

· full use of all modalities including: ultrasound, electric stimulation, shortwave

diathermy, hot and cold whirlpools, and cervical traction

There will be a team physician present at the game. A physician will also be available at any time during your stay. Emergency equipment will be present during the game and the Purdue University Student Health Center is located one block away if needed for x-rays or other services.
