1. Sign/Awning Permit Application- 1 Park Place, Il Baccio
Applicant submitted photos of new proposed awning to be applied to the existing building. The applicant also presented photos of the existing conditions and proposed awning.
DRC Recommends Approval of the replacement Awning
2.Sign/Awning Permit Application- 143 Parkway, Park 143 Bistro and Fish
Applicant submitted photos of new proposed signage to be applied to the existing building. The applicant also presented photos of the existing conditions and proposed.
DRC Recommends Approval of the replacement Signage.
3. Sign/Awning Permit Application- 19 Park Place, Villa BXV
Applicant submitted photos of new proposed signage to be applied to the existing building. The applicant also presented photos of the existing conditions.
The application shows the letter height to be 12”, however the graphics and photo submitted shows the letters at approximately 20” in height. Due to the large width of sign area and brief nature of name with 7 characters, DRC recommended that the Applicant make the letters 15” in height to more closely conform to the code. Applicant agreed with this recommendation.
DRC Recommends Approval of the replacement Signage with the reduced height of 15”

4. Three Sign Permit Applications for St Josephs Rectory, St Joseph’s Church, St Joseph’s School- Cedar St and Meadow Avenue
Applicant submitted revised photos and plans for 3 signs associated with the church, rectory and school. Revised drawings show smaller signs and reduced aluminum posts in all cases.
DRC Recommends approval of the revised /reduced dimensions and materials as submitted to the DRC on June 10, and the revised application submitted to the Building Dept. on June 18, 2015
5. Site Development Application (generators) for Concordia College
Applicant submitted plans for specifications and location of 2 diesel powered generators
DRC Recommends approval of the plans for proposed generators as submitted.
6. Site Plan Approval for a Handicap Ramp– 50 Pondfield Rd West- Westbourne Apts
Applicant submitted photos, materials and plans for removal of an existing path and installation of a new handicap accessible entrance ramp.
The applicant also included a grading plan and elevation drawing of the proposed changes. The possible benefits of using Bluestone as opposed to monumental bluestone type pavers was discussed. There were several residents at the meeting who spoke about the change in grade and aesthetic concerns.
DRC recommends approval of the plans as submitted.
