Welcome to the 7th Hungarian Open, in Pécs for the 3rd time!
Pécs is the fifth largest city of Hungary, located on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains in the south-west of the country, close to its border with Croatia. It is the administrative and economical centre of Baranya county. Pécs is also the seat of Roman Catholic Diocese of Pécs.
In 2010 Pécs has been selected to be the European Capital of Culture sharing the title together with Essen and Istanbul.
The city's motto is: "The Borderless City". After the reception of the title major renewal started in the city. Renewed public places, streets, squares and neighbourhoods, new cultural centres, a concert hall, a new library and centre and a cultural quarter were designed. Most of them are still under construction.

From Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava
If you travel by air you can chose any of the three following major:

Option 2: Austria: Vienna International Airport (440 km, 4 hours to Pécs)
Option 3: Slovakia: Bratislava Airport (410 km, 3,5 hours to Pécs)

One tournament shuttle bus for 8 players will be organised from Budapest airport on Friday 4th of May from the morning and one back on Sunday late afternoon. Travel time is approximately 2 hours. Exact costs depend on the number of passengers.

Entry Fees
€ 50 per player Single Entry Fee
€ 30 per player for junior class
€ 25 for additional seniors class

All players may start in a maximum of three classes.
€ 12 Players Licence Fee for all players who have not paid this annual fee 2012 to FIR online.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday 20th April 2012
Payment
Payments can only be made in CASH at the registration desk of the Hungarian Open before each player’s first match. Pull-outs after the entry deadline and No-shows are required to pay the FULL entry fee or will be suspended for the following FIR World Tour tournaments until having paid the entry fee. All players who won’t pay their entry fees at registration before their first match or their world ranking points will not be processed.
