Learning Objectives:
The students will know what career clusters and pathways are and will learn about 16 specific clusters as defined by the U.S. Department of Education.

Introduction
Define career clusters and career pathways for the students. Explain that the Dept of Education has grouped careers into 16 different clusters and that you will be discussing those today.

Conclusion
Conclude the lesson by telling the students that “Exploring career clusters and career pathways is another way to help you to decide which direction to take in terms of making decisions that will influence your future. Consider these clusters and pathways as you register for classes, develop skills, choose projects, and decide on activities in which you participate. Choosing a career is an ongoing process. By considering your options now, you will be better able to find a career that suits you.”
