The technical description of the algorithm is not clear – you must describe precisely what you have implemented in your report and what assumptions the algorithm makes. Almost no quantitative evaluation has been carried out. Also, I am not happy that you have taken a ‘black box’ approach to OCR using the HTK. Make sure you understand how the HMM is working

A disorganised presentation with too many slides. The details of the first method are not clear and I doubt that you understand how the algorithm works. Using a MATLAB ‘black box’ is not generally appropriate for these projects. A good effort at quantitative evaluation overall which must be clearly outlined in the report

Impressive piece of work and a very good working demonstration. Evaluation of the system will need to be clearly stated in the report and also the system’s limitations.

Some good ideas in the overall system design but clearly there are problems with the implementation. There are simpler methods of fitting ellipses so your method must be justified in your report. See if you can sort out the bug in your code so that you can demonstrate the final system in your final report
