Tier 1 Support Engineer

Your New Role
Due to continued growth, Cased Dimensions are now seeking to recruitTier 1 Support Engineers who will be part of a dynamic and professional team that delivers a range of support services. These services include:
  • Online help desk support
  • On site implementation
  • Software installation
  • System configuration
You will support the current data networks, security, application and server infrastructure across 180 sites. You will contribute to maintaining the availability and accessibility of the organisation’s IT infrastructure to agreed service level agreements with the business. In addition, you will be involved in investigating and resolving incidents, problems and providing information about systems and services within the organisation’s IT infrastructure, at all times working to all ITIL best practice methodologies.

These include:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with customers
  • Empathy with customers and a “sympathetic ear” to their support requests
  • Providing 1st level technical support
  • Maintaining suitable lines of communication with all staff & clients using appropriate tools

Location / Belfast or Dungannon / Hours / 7am to 7pm (Shift Rotation)

What you’ll need to succeed / The following skills and capabilities are desired:
  • A passion in providing IT Support
  • A positive and professional attitude to helping customers
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision in prioritising issues
  • Use of an online computerised system to keep track of issues raised and resolved.
