Post / Administration Assistant - Volunteer
Location / Morley Way, Woodston, Peterborough, PE2 7BW. Free parking available and travel expenses to and from home / office will be reimbursed at 45p/mile up to a maximum of £5 a day
Line Manager / Nicola Brennan
Hours / Minimum of 8 hours,at least two four hours shifts a week either 9am – 1pm or 1pm – 5pm
Duration of placement / Minimum of 3 months

General Duties
The Administration Assistant is required to fulfil the role in line with CPSL Mind’s values:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure the team have all the materials available to them for their daily business.
To input referrals, update actions and generate reports on our databases.
To provide administrative support as directed and be able to work independently with guidance from the core services team.
To undertake other administration duties as required such as word processing, photocopying, production of power point presentations, production of distribution lists etc.
To answer the telephone and door and respond to any enquiries.
To work in partnership with other CPSL Mind projects.
To participate in and complete all training relevant to the delivery of the service.
To participate in line management supervision.
To offer a warm welcome and refreshments to all visitors
To work within the framework of CPSL Mind’s policies and procedures with particular reference to Adult Safeguarding and Child protection.
To undertake all other duties commensurate with the role description.
To maintain standards of care with regard to health and safety, equal opportunities, confidentiality and individual and personal choice.

An awareness of mental health issues and a commitment to the ethos and values of CPSL Mind. / 
Ability to reflect on own practice. / 
An awareness of, and commitment to, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults and Child Protection or a willingness to learn. / 
Skills in IT: word processing, e mail, internet. / 
Ability to link training with practice. / 

Ability to prepare and collate training, marketing and event materials. / 
