Description

This initiative will sunset LSOG 6. Pre-Order Inquiry transactions and Order Local Service Requests (LSR) will no longer be accepted through the EDI, CORBA or LSI interfaces.

LSOG 6 LSRs with due dates of June 9, 2007 or later are currently not being accepted per initiative C06-1127/11284 implemented in the February 2007 release.

Details

Effective with the June 2007 release, Verizon will no longer accept LSRs in LSOG 6 format. For any LSOG 6 LSRs in the pipeline not in a jeopardy status response transactions will be converted to LSOG 9 format prior to being sent to the customer. Orders in jeopardy status will need to be canceled, and a new LSOG 9 LSR will need to be submitted.

Associated changes include:

·  All field numbers will be removed from LSI; interactive links to the business rules will still be available via the field name.

·  All non-supported fields will be removed from LSI.

Description

The purpose of this initiative is to introduce Wholesale Advantage DSL (WA DSL) in areas served by PARTs and RT Overlay technology.

Details

WA DSL service is offered today to Wholesale Advantage CLECs who have a signed agreement. Today the only service offered under this agreement is DSL using Central Office (CO) Based technology. This initiative will open up the ordering of WA DSL in areas currently served by PARTs and RT Overlay. This enhancement will allow CLECs to order DSL services for customer’s currently not qualified for DSL if the advanced technology is available at the end user’s location.

The LSRs submitted by the CLECs for WA DSL service will be populated in the same fashion as done today for CO Based DSL. A loop qualification is still needed, to determine that the end user is in a DSL eligible area. The RTIND field will be populated with a “Y” indicating that the customer is in a PARTs or RT Overlay technology area.

The service orders will carry additional USOCs based upon the type of DSL office, the customer is served from. Customers served in a PARTs area will have a PJ6+U and AS3V+ USOC on their account. Customers served in an RT Overlay area will have the U8SWX USOC on their account. These USOCs are not ordered on the LSR, but will be system generated when ordering the DSL.

The following table lists new USOCs associated with this initiative. These are existing USOCs used today by Verizon Broadband (VzBB) for ordering PARTs and RT Overlay DSL.

Description

The purpose of this initiative is to correct order processing and system errors when Wholesale Advantage CLECs order DSL (WA DSL) service.

Details

Verizon now gives Wholesale Advantage CLECs who have signed a contract the ability to order DSL for their End Users.

During the ordering process errors associated with the ordering of the WA DSL service may be returned, more accurate error messages are being created to help identify specific errors.

Business Rules are being modified so that delivery address information required for shipping WA DSL products will be formatted to meet Verizon system and US Postal standards.

These modifications and error messages will assist CLECs who are ordering the WA DSL service achieve accurate and correct order formatting.

Description

This initiative is to prohibit a BAN = N when the REQTYP = JB and the ACT= C and will also prohibit multiple LML’s on the DL form related to Trouble Ticket A0124011.

Details

Modify existing Tier 1 and Tier 2 edits so that an error will be returned to the CLEC when REQTYP = JB, ACT = C and BAN = N. A business rule change will be needed to prohibit BAN = N on ACT = C. Modify existing Tier 1 and Tier 2 edits so that an error will be returned if the DL form contains multiple LML requests.
