Advanced Troubleshooting

If you're still unable to find your Google Home device within the Devices section of the Google Home app, try the following,

  1. Try using another supported mobile device to set up the Google Home device.
  2. Move the Google Home device to a different location (i.e room). This will rule out any interference in the area which may be causing the SSID to not broadcast properly.
  3. Perform a factory reset.
  4. Or your mobile device or tablet, turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reopen the Google Home app and try set up again.
