TEACHER OF BUSINESS & LAW

The Programme Area of Business Management is seeking to appoint an experienced Teacher of Business & Law to contribute to the teaching and development of Business, Law and Economics. You must be able to teach Business and Law atAS/A2 andBTEC level 3 courses. Experience of teaching Economics at A Level or candidates with legal backgrounds which would enable them to teach on the Foundation Degree in Law and CILEx Modules would be welcomed (a list of these modules are available from the college on request). It is essential that you are experienced in tutoring, assessing, recording and tracking students on different courses.

Successful candidates must have a degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline, along with class teaching experience gained either in a school or college setting. You must have demonstrable high levels of skill in teaching and learning and be committed to quality education for students. In addition, you will have a successful track record of vocational and A-level results. It is essential that you have a recognised Level 4, or above, teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards a Diploma Level 5 teaching qualification (supported by CPD) upon appointed. Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working with students from a range of backgrounds are also essential.

Point 1 £21,901 - PSP 3 £37,378
