It's the most wonderful time of the year as we celebrate the birth of our Lord:
December 14th / 6PM / Family Night/Open Mic Night
A time of fun, food, and fellowship with the church family as we celebrate Christmas together! Bring your favorite Christmas dish to share! We'd love to see you there!
Mom’s morning out will be selling butter braids just in time for Christmas! The butter braids are $13.00 each for apple, raspberry, cinnamon, cream cheese, blueberry & cream cheese, Bavarian crème w/ chocolate icing, and strawberry & cream cheese. The double chocolate is $14.00. These butter braids will feed 11 people each. These are delicious and so simple to make. Just allow your frozen pastry to thaw and rise until about double in size then bake for a great homemade tasting pastry! In order for us to have these in time for Christmas we will need to have the order and money in by Monday December 15th. You can make checks payable to Wendell Baptist Church and put butter braids in the subject line. If you have any questions or would like to purchase please contact Fallen King, Luanne Lane, or Jessica Cochran.
THE FLOWER TEAM for 2015 requests that you check the posted sign-up sheets located on the bulletin board in the small Fellowship Hall. Please choose a date and sign up either for flowers or a memorial gift to the church. Team members are Courtney Apple (January), Trillis Batten (Feb/March), Gay Grimes (April), Joyce Turner (May), Carrie Wilkerson (June), Kathy Poole (July), Deanna Rogers (August), Bertie Barham (Sept/Oct), Dot Riggins (Nov/Dec) – Chairperson.
The Wendell Baptist Church Post Office box is in the hallway between the connector and large Fellowship Hall. You may drop off cards for church members at no charge. Please be sure to pick up cards to your family too.
