Membership Proposal

Northamptonshire Chamber presents a great opportunity for social enterprises / businesses established via the University’s Enterprise Club to join the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce FREE of charge for one year.

Membership will enable the start-up organisations to raise their profile within the business community, develop valuable networking opportunities and receive a range of support services.

Two categories of benefits are available, one for social enterprises and another for more traditional businesses:

“On-line / Profile” Membership – only available to Social Enterprises

Annual membership Year 1 FREE, thereafter £55 + VAT / Registration Fee waived (currently £83.33 + VAT)

  • AXA PPP Personal Business Assistance – FREE support keeping business going during absence
  • AXA PPP Health at Hand – FREE 24/7 health info for staff
  • Member rates for all Chamber training courses (saving of £50 per day per delegate)
  • Attendance of Chamber events at discounted Member rates – with ability to book online
  • Inclusion in the Chamber’s on-line directory complete with own profile page
  • Ability to add news items, Member 2 Member offers on Chamber website
  • Use of “Chamber Member” logo on stationery, website, and marketing materials

In return the social enterprise would be required to;

  • Include reciprocal hyperlink from social enterprises’website to the Chamber website
  • Pay via annual Direct Debit (otherwise £20 + VAT admin fee per annum applicable)

“Full” Membership – please note that Social Enterprises may upgrade to this level @ Year 2

All organisations applying for full membership of the Chamber would receive the above benefits plus access to all benefits available via Chamber membership including;

  • Chamber Legal Expenses cover – FREE 24/7 Legal Advice line and over £670k worth of legal expenses cover (e.g. Tax, VAT, PAYE and NIC investigations – up to £65k cover provided to pay professional fees resulting from in depth investigations)
  • Chamber AA – discounted roadside assistance (up to 60% discounts)
  • AXA PPP Healthcare – discounted Private Medical Insurance
  • Chamber Health Plan – discounted healthcare benefits
  • Chamber Utilities – FREE utilities audit to try and save you money
  • Access to the Chamber’s FREE Lobbying & Representation service – get your voice heard
  • Chamber Stationery – discounted stationery
  • Translations – from and into most known languages, using professionally qualified and insured translators, at Member discount rates
  • Ability to submit editorial for bi-monthly inBusiness magazine (5,000+ distribution list)
  • Dedicated account manager – to ensure you derive as much value from your membership as possible.
