"LEV" Manifold

General :A new method of constructing systems for conducting and distributing water which also combines valves that allow the opening and shutting of each line independently of each other.
The system, which has a modular structure of items making up the manifold, permits the assembly of an unlimited number of taps or outlets by removing or adding manifold units.

Purpose :This system permits the connection of a large number of taps without fear of leakages at the junction of the various components of the manifold and forms a compact, effective and stable arrangement for distributing liquids to different outlets while controlling the flow of liquid in every line.

Useful examples :

Horticulture - system head.

Agriculture - distribution of water to branches in greenhouses.

Industry - distribution of water to lines in the soap and food industries.

Operating Principle :

The connection between the parts of the manifold is implemented by its square form which includes a central cavity for conducting the liquid as well as four holes (one at each corner) which allow the threaded studs to pass through them and to fasten all parts of the manifold into one battery.

There is an O-ring on the external wall of the liquid conducting cavity, which ensures absolute sealing and an absence of leaks between the manifold components.

Inlet Adapter

This element, to be found at one or both ends of the manifold, permits matching the screw connections to the manifold connections. On one side there is a thread (3/4" internal or 1" external or a 1" quick coupling) while there is an O-ring seal on the other.

Water Outlet Tap

Taps (3/4" tap, 1" quick coupling tap) are assembled on the manifold (in accordance with the desired number of taps). The tap permits or stops the passage of water to the branch connected to it without blocking the flow of water to the other taps on the manifold.

Outlet

3/4" outlet - 1" outlet - 1" quick coupling outlet - and 1" quick coupling outlet cross are installed on the manifold (in accordance with the required number of outlets) and serve to supply water to the branch.

Spacer

An element which permits conduction of the liquid between the tap / outlet on the manifold. There is a central cavity in the spacer for conducting the liquid and there are two O-ring seals which permit sealing between the manifold connections.

Blank

An element placed at the ends of the manifold to stop the passage of water out of the manifold structure. The blank, like an inlet adapter, has O-rings for sealing.

An inlet adapter can be connected instead of any blank, i.e. a manifold can have two inlet adapters (some people use an inlet adapter on the manifold and another adapter as outlet from the manifold to other connections).

Threaded Studs

There are 4 threaded studs on every manifold and they fasten all the elements of the manifold into one strong and stable battery. The threaded studs are inserted into the 4 holes on the 4 corners of each element and are fastened by means of M6 nuts screwed onto both their ends.

The components of the manifold can be sorted into three groups, A, B and C. Any part from any group can be joined to any part from a different group (but not to those from its group) where parts from Group A must be on both ends of the manifold.

This modular structure (as shown above) permits the combination of one part with several differing components of the manifold and thus to adapt it to the needs of the desired system head.

The "Lev" Manifold is made in a number of standard models :

Mounting Fittings :

The manifold can be mounted on a wall or any other stable body by using the supports meant for this.

The supports are suitable for manifold models.
