The post holder will be accountable to the Electrical Supervisor.

7. DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

To carry out electrical work to client specification and satisfaction.

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SPECIFIC TO THIS POST:

Listed below are the responsibilities this role will be primarily responsible for:

8.1.1To carry out electrical work to drawings, specification and as instructed.

8.2 To record works carried out for record and financial purposes.

8.3To carry out maintenance work as instructed.

8.4To ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all statutory obligations relevant to projects assigned.

8.5 Maintain personal protective equipment to prescribed standards.

The above is not exhaustive and the post holder will be expected to undertake any duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and the competence of the post as directed by the Electrical Supervisor.

Person Specification – Electrician

  • Electrical Apprenticeship
  • City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • BS 7671, IEE Wiring Regulations - 17th Edition
  • City and Guilds 2391 /2392- Inspection and Testing or the ability to notify domestic installation works.

Experience /
  • Previously experience of working in domestic buildings
  • Previously employed in a domestic repairs and maintenance environment
