JO’B opened the forum with the announcement that we had recruited for the Resident Involvement Admin Assistant and Peter Warren was successful and would be starting the role on September 11th 2017.
Issues raised and discussed:-
PM – Raised was there any further information on the fire risk for properties with one door.
JO’B – answered that Andy Murray was dealing with this matter at the moment and JO’B would contact Andy to see if there was a recent update on this.
DH – raised that they are still having problems with parking in Kegworth.
JO’B – answered that it is problem across the district and when many of the homes were built it was not foreseen that properties would have 2/3 cars each.
RK – asked about the time frame for the new furniture at St Mary’s Court
JO’B – replied that they now had a new housing officer and to contact the housing management number.
St Mary’s Avenue residents also raised that there is a problem with people putting cigarette ends in the plant pot at the end of the bench outside St Mary’s Court. Also that the waste bins are not being put back after being emptied.
JO’B – replied that you need to raise this with your housing officer by ringing – 454545.
DL- raised that many of the residents have been reporting different repairs to herself and RK.
JO’B advised them to signpost the residents to call 454545 and speak to the Asset Management Team themselves as this would be more useful as they will be able to offer the correct help.
4 / The next meeting will be the AGM and the date has been changed to 24.10.17.
Next Meeting:24.10.2017 at The Council Chamber 10.00am – 12.00noon.
