Gracious and merciful God, trusting in your grace, we confess that we need your healing and forgiveness. For all that is broken in our minds and bodies, we ask your healing. For all that works against life and blessing in our hearts, and in the world, we open ourselves to your transforming love. Heal us, forgive us, and make us new…

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

About this Morning’s Music: This morning’s music is dedicated to the saints of the church. The Grace Notes’ a cappella anthem, God Is Our Strength, underscores the strong and protective nature of God. The arrangement is based on Psalm 46 and Martin Luther’s “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.”

About this Morning’s Hymn: “For All the Saints” was written by William W. How in 1864. It is based on Hebrews 12:1. The tune by Ralph Vaughan Williams was written in 1906.

The Chancel Flowers are given to the glory of God in loving

memory of Frances Elizabeth Matz-Dahl, Denise’s Mom, and
