Key reminders:

  • The Sacred Paschal Triduum is celebrated at the Friary, in St Edward’s, Pound Hill and in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church in Langley Green: 8pm on Maundy Thursday, 3pm on Good Friday and 9pm for the Easter Vigil – it can’t start until after dark! At the Friary the barrier will come down to allow for the blessing of the Easter Fire and Procession into the Church, so please arrive early.
  • Please note that there are no vigil Masses at St Bernadette’s in Tilgate or at Our Lady Queen of Heaven on Holy Saturday. Please see the special Mass Times leaflet for times of Easter Sunday Masses – amendments for this weekend only so all communities can have a celebration of Easter!
  • Requiem Masses: 11am Friary: Beryl Ellery(Tues 27thMar), Patricia O’Grady (Wed 28th Mar): Usual Car Parking Restrictions apply – no parking for shoppers.
  • The second collection today is for Easter Flowers.
  • Please take an Easter Collection envelope and bring back next week. This collection is your Easter Gift to the priests of the Parish and makes up a significant part of their income. They do not receive a salary from the diocese, but rely on your generous offerings.
  • Children’s Good Friday Liturgy: up to and including Year 2 at St. Clare’s in the Friary at 10:30am
  • Bereavement Support Group: Tuesday 27th March 2pm – 4pm Friary Hall Lounge.
