The Morton Sr./Jr. High School Discipline Matrix Is Used in All Referrals That Result In

The Morton Sr./Jr. High School discipline matrix is used in all referrals that result in a student being sent to the office. When a student is sent to the office the building administrator will make the following decisions based on the evidentiary information they have at the moment:

• Severity of the situation may result in the involvement of law enforcement which is in addition to the school discipline;
• Suspension, emergency removal, and/or expulsion may be deemed necessary;
• Parent/guardian notification; and,
• Determination of the level of offense and subsequent reactions of the school.

Second: Failure of course
