The 225thMeeting of the Northern Regional Committee (NRC), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) was held from 25thFebruaryto 1st March, 2014at NRC, NCTE, Jaipur.

The Regional Director, NRC apprised the members of Northern Regional Committee about the provision of the NCTE Act, Rules, Regulations and instructions issued from time to time.

AGENDA ITEM NO. 225.1 / CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES OF 224TH MEETING / Minutes of 224th NRC meeting is confirmed with the following modifications:-
The decision mentioned against agenda item No. 224.28.19 (file No. NRCAPP-3338 Sl. No. 709) be read as “ show cause notice be issued on the ground that as per VTR, the number of titles of books is 15 against requird 1000 titles.
The decision mentioned against agenda item No. 224.28.25 (file No. NRCAPP-3455 Sl. No. 715) be read as “ show cause notice be issued on the ground that the land documents submitted by the instituton in respect of khasra Number 111(48A) is not in the name of institution and the area of khasra/plot number 112 is 2220 sq meter which is less than required 2500 sq meter land.
The decision mentioned against agenda item No. 224.12.33 (file No. NRCAPP-3075 Sl. No. 552) be read as “ show cause notice be issued on the ground that the area of land mentioned in the change of land user certificate is only 1990 sq meter which is less than the requied area of 2500 sq meter.

Hence, NRC decided that Show Cause Notice under section 14/15 (3) (b) of NCTE Act, 1993 be issued to the Institution on the above point and direct the Institution to submit the reply as per the provisions of NCTE Act, 1993 Rules & Regulations within 30 days from the date of issue of Show Cause Notice.

VT report reveals that first floor and second floor have not been constructed. The building plan shows that the covered area of ground floor is 604.51 Sq.mt. only. CD showed that flooring and painting had not been completed. The Building Completion Certificate seems to be fake as it shows that total built-up area as 1754.46 Sq.mt.

Flooring of the building is incomplete suitable facilities for multipurpose activities are not available in the Multipurpose Hall.
