SPOTLIGHT

Tracy Hankins, ’89, is a plastic surgeon with HANKINS & Sohn Plastic Surgery Associates in Henderson, Nevada. He has been practicing in Las Vegas since 2004, and is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Sunrise Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Tracy’s philosophy is simple — treat each patient as if they were a member of his own family and aim to provide not only great results but great service.

Tracy is well known throughout the Las Vegas Valley for his compassionate patient care, and excellence in surgical results. Tracy has a wealth of experience in facial, breast, and body aesthetics. Tracy is individually one of the largest users of breast implants in the United States, and lectures regularly to other plastic surgeons on breast aesthetics.

Tracy comes to Las Vegas from Arizona, where he has been in solo practice for ten years after graduating plastic surgery residency. Tracy completed his medical school training at Indiana University and his undergraduate training at Davidson College in North Carolina. At Davidson, he was a Division I Academic All-American in soccer and graduated Magna Cum Laude. At Indiana University, Tracy received the highly regarded Edwards Scholarship that is given to only four of the graduate students in the entire Indiana University system each year. He was also elected to the AOA Honor Society as a junior, an honor given to less than 5% of the medical school class.

Tracy received broad training at the Grand Rapids program, which is one of the oldest combined plastic surgery programs in the country. He is extensively trained in breast surgery, as he worked closely with one of the premier breast surgeons in the country while in Grand Rapids. Tracy’s training was also focused on cosmetic surgery, and he is well-versed in cutting-edge cosmetic surgery techniques. He is frequently sought after as a guest expert on television shows and networks such as “The Doctors”, TLC Network, and local news segments such as the MORE show on Fox 5. His patients and his work have been featured in national magazines, including MAXIM and Playboy.
