Upcoming Events
January Bonuses: Many of you really got the hours up for the Nov.-Dec. Bonus plan. Thank you and we hope you enjoyed your extra $50 or $25 bonuses. Well, we have a plan for the hours you work in the month of January. In addition to the $5 bonus for every 20 hours you work in a pay period, you will get a free movie ticket, and with the $10 bonus for working 40-hours/pay period you’ll get 2 movie tickets. They will be local movie theaters. We thank you again and enjoy. Wait until you see what is coming up for February!!
Another tidbit of information; for years RCP’s have asked about uniforms or ID cards. Well they are both coming. For all current RCP’s your first BRC shirt will be free and then you may purchase others (the shirts will be mandatory). We are hoping this will all be completed by April.
BRC’s next In-Service training will be in March. We are offering 9 classes so everyone will be able to find a time to attend, as this class is mandatory. It will be on back safety and lifting. The available dates are March 28, 29 and 30. There are 3 classes each day: 9AM, 1:30PM and 4:30PM. Call now and sign-up!!

RCP of the MONTH
Felicia Parker
What an amazing story. Felicia has returned to BRC after leaving for a couple of years and boy are we glad. She was our first hired Assigned RCP. This was a program we tried for several years….boy was it tough. But Felicia persevered and did an outstanding job. She loves this job, that is why she came back and it really shows. She already has several regular clients and took most of our emergency bookings for the holidays…what a gal!! We are really happy she is back. Congratulations on being Respite worker of the month Felicia!

RCP Policy/Procedure of the Month
Our Policy this month is be friendly but always behave in a professional manner. This is a very important policy. Do not step over the bounds of professionalism. Do not give more information than is necessary, do not give opinions that are not relevant to your bookings and please, do call the office if a situation occurs that makes youuncomfortable.
Reminders
You can have BRC added as an “interested party” on your car insurance and we will automatically receive current renewal information. This way you will not have to worry about losing your mileage because you forgot to mail us your current renewal statement.
The Vacaville Skating Center is offering a Special Skater Program. The 1st Tuesday of every month, on their morning session, the Center opens its doors to special needs friends – absolutely free of charge! The Center requires that you bring or arrange for one volunteer for each special needs person. For more information, call Juliana Kenny, Skating Director, at 707/455-0225, ext. 13.
If you are planning on attending, call the day before and confirm, so the correct personnel will be there!
- From the Service Coordination Department: PLEASE return our calls and do not forget to call us when you cancel a booking. It is very important that we are able to document your cancellations.
ARC Solano’s Academy Awards Fund Raiser (and heck of a great time) is March 5th. Tickets are $60.00 and available at the office!!!
