Kögel at the IAA Commercial Vehicles: "Tradition, Experience and Competence" helping to drive the future

At the 65th. IAA Commercial Vehicles, Kögel will be presenting its portfolio of products for the forwarding and construction industry on more than 2,100 square metres on stand F14 in Hall 27. Using the motto "Tradition, Experience and Competence", Kögel will be showing their product innovations and improvements and their portfolio best-sellers. International visitors can look forward, between the 25th. of September and the 2nd. October 2014, to seeing Kögel trailers that are perfectly attuned to the requirements of the sectors and which offer verifiable, sustainable added value. In addition, Kögel will be celebrating its 80th. anniversary of their brand with international guests. The President of the VDA, Matthias Wissmann, will be welcoming the invited guests to the Kögel stand party.

Whilst the IAA Commercial Vehicles will this time be running under the motto "Driving the Future" to attract visitors to Hanover, Kögel's anniversary motto "Tradition, Experience and Competence" will also apply during the exhibition. How do these mottoes complement each other? It's quite simple: only with the necessary tradition, experience and competence can we realise more efficient commercial road transport and thus provide driving the future.

Kögel highlights at IAA 2014 Commercial Vehicles exhibition

The following Kögel products being exhibited at the IAA make a considerable contribution, both today and in the future, to "Driving the Future" and to solving the logistic challenges of tomorrow to meet the demand:

  • The new Kögel Port 20 Tankplex: Semi-trailer container chassis for 20, 23 and 25 foot tank containers, 20 foot containers and swap bodies up to size C782.
  • The new Kögel Cargo Coil: Sturdy trailer for transporting coils and split strips – now available in various structural variants.
  • The trans-national specialist Kögel Cargo TIR: 3-axle curtain-sider truck for cargo security and rapid clearance of customs traffic.
  • The Kögel Mega with award-winning Hybrid quick-opening mechanism: A Mega trailer for automotive sector use, for efficient and time-saving loading and unloading.
  • The height-optimised Kögel Mega – perfect height: Mega trailer with a total height of four metres thanks to its optimum saddle neck design, and a frame neck height of just 55 millimetres.
  • The adaptable Kögel FlexiUse: Flexible trailer for use with Lowliner, Midiliner and Standard tractor units and variable internal height.
  • The even more universal Kögel Multi: Flat semi-trailer for the transport of construction materials and containers.
  • The new generation Kögel 3-axle tipper trailer: Tipper trailer with optimised wear-resistant round steel trough and with various wall thickness combinations.
  • The Kögel Box - PurFerro quality: Lightly insulated dry freight box body with a wide range of applications.
