ENTRY INFORMATION
· Open to ages 12 years and up
· Entrants must be available for heats on the 12 and/or 19 December 2013 and to perform on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January 2014 between 4pm and 5pm
PRIZES: The winner will be awarded a $750 Telstra Voucher, with a highly commended award to receive a $250 Telstra Voucher.

The Gong Factor Talent Quest
ENTRY CRITERIA:
Entries must meet the following criteria:
· Entrants should submit a 2 minute sample audition with their entry form.
· All entry forms and sample auditions must be submitted by 5pm Monday 9 December 2013.
· All sample auditions must be clearly labelled with your name, phone number and email address.
· All entries must be submitted on DVD or USB drive, or by providing a link to Youtube or Vimeo.
· One performance only per entrant with a max 4 minute time limit.
· Contestants must be residents of the Wollongong Local Government Area.
· Contestants can perform solo / duo / group of 6 persons maximum – NO BANDS.
· For entrants under 18 years, a parent/guardian is required to sign this entry form and by doing so agree that they have read and understood the terms and conditions and give permission for the entrant to perform in public on stage and to be identified in media publications promoting Australia Day and the Gong Factor Talent Quest.
· Sample audition submitted does not have to be the same as performed on the day.
· Following Australia Day, collection of your audition sample can be undertaken at Council’s Information Desk between 28 January and 7 February 2014 only.
· Backing music can be supplied by entrant on CD or iPod.
· Contestants may supply their own acoustic instruments for backing.
· Contestants may provide their own keyboard or guitar if required – please specify if this is the case.
· No electric instruments can be used. No backline or plug-ins will be available.
· Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
· Please note this is a family environment –performances may not contain offensive language or gestures.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
By signing the entry form, the entrant agrees to the following terms and conditions which form a binding agreement between the entrant and Wollongong City Council (WCC).
· In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions and all matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Council will be final.
· Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
· The Competition is open to 12 years and up and all nationalities. If you are under 18, you warrant that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to enter the Competition subject to the Terms and Conditions.
· Council reserves the right to disqualify any entrant where it has grounds to believe the entrant has breached the Terms and Conditions.
· Council does not accept any responsibility for any lost, damaged or delayed entries.
· You consent to the publication of your name in connection with the Competition and your entry.
· You indemnify Council in relation to any breach of copyright occasioned or contained in your audition sample and performance.
· Personal information is managed in accordance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) and may be accessed by the entrant, on request to Council.
· Personal information can be used for other purposes permitted by the Local Government Act 1993 and regulations made by or under that Act, and, if necessary, may be disclosed to other public sector bodies, agents or contractors, in accordance with Council’s Privacy Management Plan Policy.
