Allocation of Funds

Bequests are a vital and continuing resource that strengthens B’nai Jeshurun’s ability to fulfill its mission for future generations. Most donors plan their gifts in the form of general bequests. This general support is most helpful because it allows us to direct funds to our most crucial priorities. However, should you have a specific program interest, or if you wish to fund an endowment, we would be happy to assist you in planning a gift that meets both your interests and the goals of B’nai Jeshurun.

  • I/we wish for this gift to be utilized for the unrestricted use and purpose of B’nai Jeshurun.
  • I/we wish for this gift to be added to an existing fund ______If due to changed circumstances it is impracticable to carry out the above intent, the gift will be used for purposes as nearly akin to the original purpose as possible, or for the unrestricted use and purpose of B’nai Jeshurun.
  • I/we wish to create a new endowed fund with the proceeds of this bequest. I/we understand that the purpose of this Fund is mutually approved by the donor and the Board of Trustees and all Endowment Funds, at time of inception, shall be accepted or rejected by the Board of Trustees. I/we will submit additional documentation regarding my/our wishes.

Recognition

  • B’nai Jeshurun may use my/our name when listing donors that have indicated an intention to make a planned gift.
