May 16, 2004: Bill Flynn’s Spring Weekend at Raleigh Resort---South Fallsburg, NY:
Wow! What a room party last night. The room was packed full of friends of FPB & Joe Weber. 3 1/2 bottles of Jagermeister were used up between the two room parties! I even yodeled a couple of songs during the room party with my Dad, and Bob Zeller. During Joe Weber's midnight performance, he had us three yodel a tune with his band (Thanks, Joe!). Also, Rick & I tore up the dance floor, as we each danced a song with our good friend, Jean Hansen (who's also one of our merchandisers).
Well, today wraps up this polka event. It's been an awesome three days, as we saw many of our friends, and made some new ones. FPB is certainly looking forward to the next big event! Today, we got things going with "The Party's Just Begun" / "I Want To Call You Sweetheart." A few of the other tunes we did were: "Green, Green Grass Of Home," "Twilight Waltz," one of our new pals, John Clark played accordion with us on the following songs: "Green Grass Polka," "North, South, East, West," "For The Good Times," and also during these final tunes, "It's Goodbye To You" / "E - I - O." Jude from Jude's Polka Jets 2 grabbed his accordion, and joined in with us during "E - I - O."
Next up, on May 29th, FPB does an afternoon performance at New Beginnings at Trail's End in Camden, NY......
