Drum Event:Our Main Event of the day and it is from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., we will have our non-stop five (5) hour drum circle. While not mandatory, those participating are encouraged to get one of our sponsor sheets and collect funds prior to the drumming festival from friends, co-workers, neighbors, companies to sponsor them for any given amount of money to drum for five (5) hours non-stop.The money must be turned in at the registration tent prior to drumming. Donations of any amount of money will be taken the day of the event to drum too. We will have some extra drums, but feel free to bringyour own too.We welcome any kind of drums, rattles, shakers, flutes to be played during the main event.

The five (5) hour non-stop drumming is done in complete silenceby all drummingparticipants. Once the drums start, there is a constant beating of them for the whole five (5) hours. If someone needs a break, we have volunteers that will slip into that person’s seat and continue the drumming until they return. We do this not only as a fundraiser, but to return to the earth, the people in the community and the universe the healing energy of the drums. People from all cultures all over the world have for centuries honored and used the drum in their cultures for various celebrations. This is our effort to do the same to this community; all who come to watch or participate and the universe, there can never be enough healing energy in the world. We hope that this festival will continue to grow and prosper from year to year. It has the potential to become a community changing event.
