Dear Sir or Madam:
Greetings from Beijing,China.
The green sunny sport woodball developed a lot recently. In order to promote the international exchange and cooperation of woodball and provide more experiences to the 1st Asian Beach Games Bali 2008, we are planning to organize the China International Woodball Open Tournament 2008 at the beautiful beach city —Beidaihe which located about 300Km in the North of Beijing City from September 20th to 22nd ,2008. The said Tournament is to be held referring to the mode of the 1stAsianBeach Games Bali 2008 while the competition is to be held both on the grass and beach. What is more, the said tournament is recognized by the International Woodball Federation as one of the Events of the International Tour Woodball Championships 2008 and all participant will be rewarded scores by taking part in it.
Hereby we would like to invite you to send teams to this Tournament and your participation will make the tournament a successful and colorful one.

Regulations
1.Date: September 20th to 22nd ,2008 (Expected Arrival on 18th ,Official Opening and practicing on 19th , Competition 2 days:20th to 21st , Sightseeing and closing ceremony on 22nd , Departure date 23rd .)
2.Venue: Grass course will be arranged at the Olympic Park while the sand course will be arranged at the beautiful BeidaiheBeach.
3.Competition Events:
1) Men & Ladies Team of 4 players each (Automatic qualified for single)
2) Men & ladies Single
4.Eligibility:Members of all Woodball Associations or Clubs who is healthy are eligible to take part in the tournament.
5. Competition Method
1)The updated International Woodball Federation Rules and regulations is Applied. However, any specific rules and regulations would be informed during team leaders, coaches and chief referees joint meeting before the competition is commenced. All the participants need to bring their own sticks and balls to the competition.
2) Format of Play: all players shall play 24 gates per day on Sep. 20th & 21st respectively. The score after playing 48 gates shall determine the results Forteam event and singly event.
3)Uniform: all the participants should wear suitable and the players in the same team should wear the uniform in the same style .
4) Referees will be nominated by the ChineseLeisureSportsAdministrativeCenter.
5. Expense:
1) Participation Fee :USD 150 per team ( 30 per person,applicable for the player participate in the single event only)
2) International travel shall be borne by the participants themselves and we will provide you with accommodation package: USD 60.00 per person / per night inclusive of Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and local transportation from BeijingInternationalAirport or ShanhaiguanAirport to the hotel to the race course.
3) Sightseeing fee is 100RMB including the tickets and transportation.
6. Entry, arrival and departure:
1)Please kindly fill in the attached Entry form send to the LeisureSportsAdministrativeCenter by fax (86-10-67133577)or email to before Sep.10th,2008.
2)please arrive on Sep. 18th or 19th ,2008. we will provide you with free ferry from the Airport to the hotel, so please send us your arrival details at your earliest convenience.
3)Departure Date will be Sep.23rd (please feel free to contact us if any delay departure requires)
7. Awarding and prizes
1)team events: the top 8 teams will be awarded trophy and certificate while the top 3 teams will be awarded medal either.
2) single events: the top 8 players will be awarded certificate while the top 3 will be awarded medal either.
3)one-in-hole will be awarded cash of 5000RMB in total.
4)All the participating teams will be awarded tablet for their sports moral show in the competition.

19:00 Grand Opening Ceremony to be held in the Qinhuangdao Olympic Gymnasium
Sep 20th competition on the beach
Sep 21st competition on the grass
Sep 22nd sightseeing(Visit the Shanhaiguan Great Wall , Jifa Comprehensive Agricultural Development, )
18:30 Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party to be held in the TrumpetShellBarGarden.
Sep.23rd Departure or transfer to Chengde city for the national Championships.
