We thank our respected CMD for arranging to call for a fresh panel of 140 Nos.AEE/Civilto be selected for promotion as EE/Civil.

The Associationhas earlier representedfor the need for calling of fresh panel for EE/Civil vide Ref. cited and furtherwould like to bring the following points for the kind consideration of the CMD:

• In the fresh panel called for, the first 25 Nos. AEE/Civil were recruited during the year 1980 & 1991,

• Most of them have put in about 33 years of service with a single promotion of AEE,

• They are due to retire within a year commencing from May 2013 onwards

As the preparation of fresh panel may take considerable time, the above said AEEs may not get a chance of their second and last promotion for working as EE/Civil before their retirement.

Hence, the TNEB Engineers’ Association requests the respected CMD to consider for arranging Temporary promotionfor the first 25 AEEs/Civil for promotion as EE/Civilpending approval of the regular panel so as to give them an opportunity to get their second and last promotion before theirretirement.
