The Central NJ IvyPlus Network
IvyPlus is a well-established, worldwide brand of academic institutions that principally
include the eight Ivies plus MIT and Stanford. Depending on the geographic area, other
institutions (e.g. the Seven Sisters) will also constitute the local IvyPlus network.
The principal purpose of our network is to foster fellowship among IvyPlus alumni clubs
in the Central NJ area. IvyPlus events provide a wonderful opportunity for IvyPlus
alumni to meet each other for social as well as business networking. The events are also a
great way for the individual alumni clubs to acquire new members. For our area, I have
established peer contacts with the MIT, Stanford, eight Ivy, Seven Sisters, Wharton,
Emory, and Duke alumni clubs.

From these examples, you may have noticed that IvyPlus events may be targeted toward
particular audiences, e.g. everyone, young alumni (typically 10 years and under after
graduation), singles, etc. IvyPlus events can be anything you can think of that would be
enjoyed by your fellow IvyPlus alumni.
For our part, the MIT Club of Princeton plans to organize one major event per year (e.g. a
wine tasting in the Spring) as well as assist in organizing other events.
