The Allentown Diocese Forensics League

And

The Catholic Forensic League of Scranton

Dear Forensics Coach,

With the cooperation of the Allentown Diocese Forensics League (ADFL) and the Catholic Forensic League of Scranton (CFLS) we would like to invite you to a “Fall Kick-Off” tournament to be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Southern Lehigh H.S. in Center Valley, PA. We will be using National Catholic Forensic League events and rules, so if you are not familiar with these, please feel free to contact us. Events will be split into Varsity and Novice divisions as numbers warrant. Novices are defined as freshmen or sophomores or students in their first year of competition. Finals will be held if numbers warrant as well. All students advancing out of preliminary rounds will be recognized at our awards ceremony. There will be NO double entries in any events.

Tournament information, including directions to Southern Lehigh H.S. and a tentative schedule, is included on the following pages. Please make sure you are aware of tournament deadlines and fees. Registration for the tournament will be handled through TABROOM.com. Both the Allentown and Scranton leagues now have groups on this site. Schools are encouraged to join their respective leagues on this site, since both leagues plan to use TABROOM.com throughout the year for future league tournaments. Complete school registration is due by Monday, October 31, 2016 with changes due by 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Please note that there are two groups for each event, one for Varsity and one for Novice. Please be sure to register your students into the correct divisions. Some events may be collapsed into one division on the day of the tournament if there are not enough entries to warrant splitting Varsity and Novice. There will NOT be any judges for hire. Seniors who have extensive experience may be allowed to judge novice events.

We hope that you will be able to join us for a great day of competition. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. See you on November 5th!

Sincerely,

David Long Keith Brosious
