SIGHTS: Optional: Use them if you think they will help

RIFLE: A 22 caliber rimfire (NRA Rule 3.2) is customary, but not mandatory

TARGET: As appropriate to the course of the fire

ELIGIBILITY: This match is an INVITATIONAL and this is an invitation for you. Since squadding is limited please get your entry in pronto. Please do not extend an invitation to others without first contacting the Match Jefe as we have a finite number of premiums this year.

Premium:Premium Corporal Panko reports that this year’s offering is both original, practical, and within budget. These are all qualities that make the Chancellor of the Exchequer Corporal very happy.

FEE: Twenty-five ($25.00) dollars in US Funds. Please submit with your advance entry. This modest amount will cover the cost of the traditional 48 Hour Road Kill Chili Dinner, a renewal of your life membership in the Corporal Digby Hand Schützenverein, and a prize of our choice in a category and class of your choice.

SPECIAL MATCH CONDITIONS: As in the past competitors will assume certain obligations inherent in the operation of a grand event of this type. Since the rules are as flexible as a politician’s promises, deviations will be made upon appeal of our jury of deviates under the direction of the Match Jefe. After all, we are the home of the club of the light hearted competitor.

The Awards Banquet will take place at the end of shooting, about 3 PM. The chili is expected to be of an extraordinary high quality this year as the harsh winter and the fear of El Nino has encouraged small animals to carelessly cross the highways in unprecedented large numbers. The warm spring weather should aid greatly in the ripening of the meat. If you wish to bring a guest they will be welcome, as well as your $5.00 to cover the meal cost.

Mail entries to, and make checks payable to, Hap Rocketto, 18 Stenton Avenue, Westerly, RI 02891 (401) 322-7193. You may pay at the door as long as we know you are cominhg.

The Quaker Hill Rod and Gun Club rules require that all shooters wear eye and ear protection when shooting. All competitors assume all risks attendant to this type of activity. The QHR&GC rules to not require, but good sense dictates, that you bring clips to hang your targets.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again
