PASSES:TOURNAMENTPASS: Adults $ 10.00 Under 10: $6.00
DAYPASS: $ 5.00; UNDER 10 $ 3.00; Children under 5 are free. Each player and two (2) coaches from each team will receive a GATEPASS with their team packet. These packets will be distributed at the Manager’s meeting.
OPENING FRIDAY, June 19, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
CEREMONIES:All teams are asked to be in uniform and to participate in the ceremonies. Opening Ceremonies will be at
LAKEKIRBYPARK, FIELD 1.
FORMAT:THREE GAME GUARNTEEDOUBLE ELIMINATION
TIME LIMIT:Time limit according to 2009 ASA Rules
GAME TIME:Managers must have their teams prepared to play at schedule game time.
Posted game time is forfeit time.
UNIFORMS:Per 2009 ASA Rules.
LINEUPS:Lineups must be submitted 30 minutes before scheduled game time, completewith first and last names, shirt number, and defensive position.
All substitutes names and numbers must be listed. Lineup cards will be provided.
TIE BREAKER:International tie breaker will be used.
HOME TEAM:A coin flip conducted by a Tournament Official will be done when lineups are submitted. Official lineup cards must be used.
PROTESTS:Any protest must be registered with the plate umpire and must comply with 2009 ASA rules and guidelines. The protest committee will render a decision on any protest and, if applicable, play will resume.
GAME BALLS:ASA approved ball will be furnished.
INFIELD PRACTICE:No infield practice is allowed. Team warm-up areas will be available.
CONCESSIONS:Concessions will be available on site. NO PERSONAL COOLERS ALLOWED. Team managers will be allowed to bring in a cooler to keep ice and drinks for the players and coaches. Drinks must be purchased from the complex concession vendor. Also the manager may bring in a second cooler for wet towels andice to use to cooling players.
CONDITIONS:Teams should be prepared with mosquito repellent (spray or lotion).A cool-down tent will be on site for teams and all dugouts will be supplied with ice and water. Bring your own drinking cups. Be sure to have a first aid kit available in your team equipment with your team.
INCLEMENTEvery effort will be made to complete our tournament by WEATHER: having teams compete “ on the field “. If weather conditions demand, the tournament committee will make determinations in the best interest of the players and Texas ASA. Possible decisions include but are not limited to shortening game times or altering the format of the tournament.
Please list a “ rain-out or emergency number” on your entry form so that tournament officials may contact you in case of any changes in games time.

T-SHIRTS:Tournament T-shirts, other softball items and other sportsitems will be available on site.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to switch teams to a different Field for the purpose of saving time if behind schedule.
