1. Why do you wish to volunteer with us?

2. What types of programs are you interested in assisting us with?

3. What qualities and/or skills do you possess that would make you a valuable volunteer for us?

Step 3:

Part One:

We are looking for teens who want a fun, hectic, but rewarding learning experience at our library. And while we plan to reward any volunteer who completes at least 30 hours of work with our end of summer trip to Sky Jump, there are only two (2) paid teen internships. Can we still count on you to help make this an amazing summer, if you do not receive one of the paid positions?

Part Two: Program Idea

Both of our teen interns will be in charge of creating a program, from start to finish. We will help you with materials and prep, but it will be YOUR activity. Use the following prompts to tell us about the program you would like to run this summer, as part of the Building a Better World theme. See the attached sheet for the weekly more specific themes, too.

What age group will your program be for? (Babies/toddlers, early elementary, middle school, etc).

Briefly describe your program idea.

What supplies will you need us to buy for this program?

How long will setup for the program take? What space will you need?

How long will the program run for (approximately)?

What clean up will your program require?
