The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill located at 325 Pittsboro Street:
From Raleigh/Durham:
Take I-40 West. Take Hwy 54 West exit. Turn left at the light and continue straight. After six traffic lights, you will go under Hwy 15/501 overpass and be on Raleigh Road which becomes South Road as you get on campus.
Pass the BellTower on the left.
Before the second traffic light, get in the left lane so you can go straight through the light across Columbia Street. The road name changes from South Road to McCauley Street at the light. Once you pass the light, the FedEx Global Education Center (GEC) is on the left behind the fraternity house at the corner. Turn left to go behind the GEC building.
TO PARK: Once behind the GEC make another right going UNDER the GEC building to use the parking area there.
The School of Social Work is the 5-story building beside the GEC. The front entrance of the School of Social Work faces toward campus, not towards Pittsboro Street, so you can walk to the outside of the back of the GEC, up the hill and turn right to go up the steps to the School of Social Work. Once you enter the School of Social Work, look for the elevator to your left and take it up to the 3rd floor. Room 300 will be on your right once you exit the elevator. There are spots for disability parking beside the School of Social Work which you can access from Pittsboro Street.**
From Greensboro:
Take I-40 East.
Take the Hwy. 86 exit towards Chapel Hill. This road becomes Airport Rd. and then Columbia Street as you enter Chapel Hill.
After crossing Franklin Street, go to the second traffic light and turn right on to Cameron Ave.
Go to the first traffic light and turn left on Pittsboro Street.
Go to the next traffic light and turn left on McCauley Street.

From Fayetteville/Sanford:
Take Hwy 15-501 North to Chapel Hill.
At the junction of Hwy 15-501 and Hwy 54, bear to the left going OVER THE BRIDGE over Hwy 54. This road becomes Columbia Street. Stay on Columbia until you pass the Health Sciences Library (on right). At the next light turn left on to McCauley Street.
Once you turn on to McCauley Street, the FedEx Global Education Center (GEC) is on the left behind the fraternity house at the corner. Turn left to go behind the GEC.
TO PARK: After turning left to go behind the GEC, make another right going UNDER the GEC building to use the parking area there.
